Effective as of June 1st, 2025.

These Terms & Conditions apply to all services offered by Joanna Chrysocheris, operating under Aimable désordre, based in Québec, Canada. By booking a service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.

1. Services

Aimable désordre offers interior decorating and styling services through virtual consultations. Services are provided in the form of design packages that may include 1:1 video calls, digital design plans (PDF), curated shopping lists, moodboards, layout suggestions, and limited post-consultation support.

All services are advisory only. Joanna Chrysocheris is not a licensed architect or contractor, and does not assume any legal responsibility for how suggestions are implemented by clients or third parties.

2. Booking & Payment

• All bookings are made through Acuity Scheduling.

• Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your session.

• All prices are listed in Canadian dollars and do not include applicable sales taxes. Taxes will be calculated and added at checkout based on the client’s location.

  We are based in Québec and are registered to collect GST (5%) and QST (9.975%).

  Sales within Canada are subject to federal and provincial taxes according to the client’s province or territory.
  Prices are subject to change without notice.

• Payments are processed via Stripe, a secure third-party payment platform.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

All bookings are non-refundable. However, we understand that unexpected situations can arise. You may request to reschedule your session with at least 48 hours’ notice. If you fail to provide the required project information (questionnaires, photos, etc.) at least 48 hours in advance, your session may be postponed at our discretion. No refunds will be issued in this case.
If you cancel or miss your session with less than 48 hours’ notice, the session will not be refunded or rescheduled.
In these situations, you will receive a credit coupon valid for a future booking.

If you experience exceptional circumstances (technical issues, illness, emergencies), please reach out to info@aimabledesordre.com to discuss a possible solution. We're committed to handling these situations with fairness and understanding.

4. Deliverables & Usage

You will receive your design materials via email or shared link, depending on the package:

The One Room Refresh and Full Design Package include a PDF design plan. The Full Design Package also includes an Excel file for the shopping list.

These materials are created for your personal use only. You may not share, redistribute, or resell them in any form.

All designs remain the intellectual property of Joanna Chrysocheris. Aimable désordre retains the right to share visuals, mockups, or stylized before-and-after representations from your project (excluding personal client info) for portfolio, website, or social media use.

5. Follow-Up Support

Some packages include follow-up Q&A via WhatsApp audio messages.

• This Q&A is intended to clarify the existing plan only, not to introduce new rooms or redesigns.

• Support is valid for 15 calendar days from the date of final delivery.

• Questions will be answered during business hours (9am to 5pm, Montreal time) Monday to Friday, with replies typically sent within 24 hours.

Additional follow-up outside this window may be billed separately.

Customer support outside of WhatsApp is available via email.

6. Client Responsibilities

To ensure the success of your session, you are responsible for:

• Completing and submitting the pre-session questionnaire with all required details at least 48 hours before your consultation.

• Providing clear photos and measurements of the space when applicable.

• Attending your scheduled video consultation on time.

Failure to provide sufficient information or attend the session may result in postponement. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

7. Limitations of Liability

Aimable désordre is not liable for:

• Any construction, renovation, or installation work performed by third parties.

• Purchasing decisions or results based on budget constraints, product availability, or shipping delays.

• Damages, delays, or dissatisfaction related to the implementation of any design plan.

Joanna Chrysocheris acts solely as an interior decorator and stylist. She does not offer architectural, structural, or engineering services.

8. Intellectual Property

All content provided to clients—design plans, layouts, shopping lists, and written materials—is the intellectual property of Joanna Chrysocheris.

Clients are granted a non-transferable, personal-use-only license. Materials may not be copied, published, redistributed, resold, or used commercially without written permission.

Moodboards or concept presentations may include third-party imagery (such as product images, styled spaces, or artistic references) used strictly for inspiration and illustrative purposes. These images remain the property of their respective copyright holders and are not presented as original work by Aimable désordre.

Every effort is made to credit original sources when available. If you believe an image has been used in error, please contact info@aimabledesordre.com to request removal or attribution.

9. Privacy & Data Use

Aimable désordre collects basic client information (name, email, phone number, and project-related photos) strictly for the purpose of delivering your service. Information is stored securely and is not shared or sold to third parties.

Third-party tools used include:

Acuity Scheduling for booking

Stripe for payment

WhatsApp for limited follow-up communication

Google Drive or email for file sharing

By booking a service, you consent to the use of these platforms for, payment, communication and delivery.

If you reside in the EU or are concerned about GDPR, please reach out via email to request deletion or review of any personal data held.

10. Modifications

These Terms & Conditions are subject to change without prior notice. The version in effect at the time of booking will apply.
